The Journal Entry Two - Action in Inaction
“One who sees action in inaction, and inaction in action, is wise among men.”
– Bhagavad Gita
Lately, I’ve been sitting with the idea of action in inaction.
At first it felt like a contradiction — how can anything happen when I’m not actively doing?
But I’m learning that some of the most powerful shifts don’t happen when I push.
They happen when I align.
When I slow down enough to actually feel.
To trust. To wait for the right moment rather than forcing it. To let my presence speak louder than my words, and my energy move things before my hands do.
There are days when I do less — and yet more moves.
There are moments when I hold silence — and truth rises.
There are choices I don’t rush into, and suddenly the path opens.
This is action in inaction.
It is choosing trust over panic, depth over noise, sacred timing over external pressure.
It is remembering that I am not just a maker, a worker, a doer.
I am also a vessel. A channel. A field through which divine work flows.
Sometimes the most courageous thing I can do is:
- Pause.
- Listen.
- Be.
And let that be enough.
Because when I’m aligned, life moves.
With stillness and strength,
Mouna
